Khoi Trinh

PhD Candidate in Data Science and Analytics
University of Oklahoma

Bio

I am currently a PhD Candidate in Data Science and Analytics at the University of Oklahoma, working under the supervision of Dr. Anindya MaitiDirector of SecretLab. My research focuses on using data science to promote the equitable integration of generative AI tools into human-centered workflows. I also examine the impact of AI-generated art on popular online art platforms, with a focus on copyright and ownership concerns. Beyond this, I contribute to two Ethereum Foundation-funded projects that explore security analysis within the Web3 ecosystem.

Alongside my research, I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Instructor for First-Year Learning & Engagement, where I help develop the curriculum and teach a section of the Foundations: Academic Support Math course.

In addition to my academic roles, I am the Backend Systems Developer for ScooterLab, a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded community research infrastructure initiative currently being developed at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
